CGI
Scripting using Perl - Two Years in the Trenches:
CGI scripting is the most reliable way of providing dynamic
page content and creating interactivity between the user and
the server. This session will cover the CGI specification, give
a very basic introduction to Perl and demonstrate the use of
Perl in writing CGI scripts. If time permits, some security
and efficiency issues will be discussed. Some programming experience
will be helpful in understanding the material, but it is not

deals with course design standards and the problems encountered
in setting these standards, file management, WebCT, use of JavaScript,

an opportunity to work with FrontPage '98 to design a web page
